I’m Manny Vargas, a photographer drawn to stories that unfold naturally. My work lives at the intersection of food, travel, and human connection, shaped by both where I am and where I come from.

I’m based in Connecticut with deep roots in Puerto Rico. My parents were born on the island, my mother in Ponce and my father in Utuado, and that heritage continues to influence how I see the world. It shows up in the way I photograph food, the way I approach travel, and the way I pay attention to people and place.

I photograph food and drink shaped by tradition and craft, as well as families and couples experiencing the world together. Whether I’m working with brands or traveling alongside clients as a personal travel photographer, the approach is always the same: slow down, observe, and create images that feel honest and lived in.
